Foreningen Oslo Sinfonietta & Cikada – The Oslo Sinfonietta and Cikada Association exists to ensure the continued operation and sustainability of the two independent contemporary music ensembles Oslo Sinfonietta and Cikada, as well as to support the realization of their artistic goals. The ensembles strive for the highest international artistic standards and are committed to presenting the best of Norwegian and international contemporary music and performance, both in Norway and abroad. Through their activities, the ensembles also aim to be driving forces and active contributors to the development of Norwegian creative and performing musical life.
